We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Cook or Chef to join our team at a modern Indian restaurant in Subang. The ideal candidate must be experienced in preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes (vegetarian and/or non-vegetarian) according to standard recipes
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including food prep, inventory, and portion control
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen area and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Coordinate with front-of-house team to ensure timely service
  • Innovate and contribute to menu development (optional based on experience)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Indian Cook or Chef (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking methods
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Good time management and multitasking skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience / South Indian / Fusion cuisine (please specify)
  • Basic spoken English or Bahasa Malaysia
  • Culinary certification (optional)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
