About the role

This full-time Supervisor, Logistics & Distribution role at Fraser & Neave (F&N) is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the company's warehousing, storage and distribution functions at our Shah Alam, Selangor location. In this critical position, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and optimizing the supply chain to support the company's overall manufacturing, transport and logistics objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the logistics and distribution teams, ensuring targets and key performance indicators are met
  2. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, optimizing warehouse utilization and stock management
  3. Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and minimize waste
  4. Liaise with internal departments and external logistics providers to resolve any issues and maintain smooth operations
  5. Implement and oversee warehouse and transportation safety protocols to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  6. Provide training and development support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  7. Analyze data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehousing, logistics or distribution environment
  2. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve operational challenges
  4. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
  5. Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
