Job Description

  • Lead and mentor Account Officers in Accounts Payable (AP) and inventory management, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly closing processes, including accrual accounting and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory and corporate compliance reporting.
  • Support Corporate and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance and liaise with external auditors when required.
  • Prepare and post accounting journals, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Advise operational departments on accounting processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee recording of financial transactions in line with internal policies.
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory accounting with operations teams.

Job Requirement

  • 3–4 years of general/financial accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills with proven process improvement capability.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., Auto Count) and ERP platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,500.00 per month
