Purchasing Specialist

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify low-value purchase needs, ensure accurate submission of procurement requests (PR), and issue Purchase Orders (PO) promptly within the internal procurement system.
Monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods/services and submission of required documents (e.g., invoices, delivery confirmations).
Perform basic procurement checks including vendor quote collection, price comparisons, and simple negotiation for low-value purchases.
Ensure all procurement actions are compliant with company policies and standards.
Record and maintain procurement data accurately, including regular reporting on open PR/PO, delivery status, and exceptions.
Assist with invoice validation, matching PO with invoices, and highlighting mismatches for resolution.
Discover, track, and resolve day-to-day P2P issues, take actions to improve processes within the immediate scope.
Coordinate with internal users and procurement team for clarifications and guidance where needed.
