Job Title: Analytical Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled
Analytical Engineer
to join our data team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics, transforming raw data into clean, structured, and reliable datasets for business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data models using
    DBT
    to enable efficient data transformations and analytics.
  • Develop and optimize
    SQL
    queries and data pipelines to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver accurate data solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks, version control, and CI/CD practices for DBT projects.
  • Automate data transformation workflows using
    Python
    and integrate with various data platforms.
  • Maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and transformation logic.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability across analytics data layers.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Analytical Engineer / Data Engineer / BI Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in
    SQL
    and experience with
    DBT
    for data transformation.
  • Hands-on experience in
    Python
    for automation and data manipulation.
  • Solid understanding of
    data modelling
    principles (Kimball, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, etc.).
  • Experience working with
    modern data warehouses
    (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with
    version control (Git)
    and data workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
