Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Development Software Engineer located in Simpang Ampat. The engineer will be responsible for conducting research and development in software engineering and Machine Vision algorithms. Day-to-day tasks include developing and testing components, conducting analytical studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product design and quality.

Qualifications

  • Research and Development (R&D), Research skills
  • Work on image processing algorithms, planning, development, testing and monitor until deployment.
  • Develop inspection algorithm/coding for company product by using C & C++
  • Develop new features using SDLC and code review with team members
  • Maintain current software using source code control tools.
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Prior experience in automation and machine vision solutions is a plus
  • Good in using Visual Studio as tool
  • Positive Attitude in learning and execution to strive for the best
  • Position will be based in Simpang Ampat , Penang
