In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities across both Fepa and Carbo entities, ensuring timely procurement of materials, maintaining optimal stock levels, and supporting smooth production flow.

You will collaborate closely with suppliers, production teams, and relevant departments to ensure cost-effective sourcing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in the supply chain. Join us in driving operational efficiency and supporting our growth in the abrasive manufacturing industry

• Manage and execute the full purchasing cycle, including sourcing, price negotiation, issuing purchase orders, and supplier coordination.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and lead-time performance.

• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of raw materials, consumables, and production-related items.

• Liaise closely with production and planning teams to meet material requirements and avoid downtime.

• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.

• Analyse cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.

• Ensure all purchased materials comply with required quality standards and specifications.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database, and documentation.

• Resolve supply issues, delays, or discrepancies proactively.

• Support the implementation and improvement of procurement SOPs and policies.

• Prepare monthly purchasing reports for management review.

• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new materials.

• Work cross-functionally to support continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.

• At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Independent, responsible, and able to work with all levels of personnel.

• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Knowledge of vendor sourcing and material planning is an added advantage.

• A team player with positive attitude, integrity, and professionalism.
