About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team at the SWAN GARDEN RESORT HOTEL(MELAKA) in Kota Syahbandar, Melaka. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's HR strategy and ensuring our employees are supported, engaged and developed to their full potential.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management and employee relations
  • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and values
  • Managing the HR team and providing guidance, support and development opportunities
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Partnering with business leaders to understand their workforce needs and provide strategic HR solutions
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive and high-performing company culture
  • Managing the payroll, employee benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate compensation.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR management role, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment legislation and industrial relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing HR teams
  • Proficient in data analysis and using HR technology to drive insights and improvements
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
