About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dynasty Synergy Sdn. Bhd. as an Assistant General Manager - Plantation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic management of our plantation located in Pahang.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of operations across a 10,000-acre plantation, including nursery management, land preparation, planting, field maintenance, harvesting, crop transport and estate infrastructure
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and sustainability
  • Oversee the supervision, training and development of plantation personnel
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to align plantation operations with the company's overall business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and stakeholder engagements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8-15 years of experience in a senior managerial role within the plantation or agricultural industry
  • Strong understanding of plantation operations, including crop management, processing, and logistics
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in the plantation industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field
