Responsibilities:

  • Administration & Coordination – Monitoring purchasing activities such as (sourcing new suppliers), negotiating (negotiate or lower pricing), analyze quotation, purchase of goods and service for best price (process purchase requisition, purchase order and order confirmation) and monitoring quality and quantity as well timeliness of goods delivered.
  • Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project or user, responsible to negotiate on pricing to ensure items and services are sourced and awarded competitively.
  • To increase awareness and drive implementation of ERP within organization and liaise with other departments for proceed the purchasing activities according to company requirements.
  • Advise internal and external parties on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
  • In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and delivery schedules to meet factory or requester requirements.
  • Responsible for implementing with company purchasing procedure.
  • To perform material inventory stock count activities and report.
  • To monitor and perform stock buffering for the materials to prevent production downtime.
  • Coordinate import shipment, customs clearance process and handling domestic transportation – related task.
  • Undertake all filling is required
  • To perform any other tasks as and when required by management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma, Advanced/Highest/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience in executing Sourcing & negotiation activities.
  • Proven experience in working with cross functional teams to ensure cost control and process improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, planning and problem solving with organizational and analytical ability.
  • Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office. Knowledge in ERP would be an advantage.
