The company headquarters are located in Niederönz (Switzerland). Additional development and production locations are located in Germany (Gotha), in Italy (Cazzago San Martino and San Giuliano Milanese), and in China (Tianjin and Shenzhen). We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to be based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru

JOB SUMMARY

Provide installation of Bystronic equipment, customer training, basic repair and maintenance.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assemble and install Bystronic equipment

· Installation start-ups and commissioning of equipment

· Demonstrate a strong knowledge of customer service skills

· Instruct customer on applications, machine operation, and maintenance and safety at customer locations

· Trouble shoot and repair of Bystronic equipment with assistance

· Complete installation feedback reports in a timely manner

· Conduct product demonstrations

· Maintain a neat and orderly work area

· Follow all safety requirements/guidelines while in Bystronic's facility and at customer facilities

· Complete and pass basic online courses

· Learn where reference documentation is and how to navigate through it

· Complete legible service reports and expenses on time

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years maintenance, installation and/or service experience

REQUIREMENTS: Work overtime and weekends if necessary. Heavy travel up to 100%. Able to communicate in English fluently.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and blueprint reading.

TRAINING: Basic computer, CNC programming. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
