Supply Chain General Clerk | Up to RM 2,400 | Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Position: Supply Chain General Clerk

Salary Package: RM1,700 – RM2,800

Working Location: Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Company Background: Plastic injection molding service

Working days : 5.5 days / Week

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday) & 08:00 – 13:00 (Saturday)

Job Descriptions:-

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties to support the Supply Chain Department (purchasing, planning, and logistics).
  • Prepare, process, and file purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, and goods receipt notes.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory and material records in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Assist in tracking and expediting supplier deliveries to ensure on-time arrival of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available as planned.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages or discrepancies, and prepare replenishment requests.
  • Support import/export documentation (if applicable) and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Generate routine supply chain reports such as material status, inventory movement, and delivery performance.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, correspondence, and record keeping.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Executive or Manager in ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Secondary / Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in clerical or administrative work within a manufacturing or logistics environment, preferably in plastic injection moulding.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes (purchasing, inventory, logistics, and planning).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and documentation procedures.
  • Knowledge of plastic raw materials and production flow in injection moulding is an advantage.
  • Awareness of ISO or IATF 16949 requirements related to supply chain documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Accurate and fast data entry and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal and external parties.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload efficiently.
