- Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections for sheet metal and CNC parts.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measuring equipment such as CMM, VMM, digital calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
- Interpret and understand mechanical/engineering drawings to identify inspection requirements.
- Develop and run CMM programs using PC-DMIS software.
- Monitor nearly all manufactured products to ensure that they meet specified standards.
- Inspection includes but is not limited to:
- Raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts & assemblies.
- Measures raw materials /components and/or assemblies.
- Generates detail inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.
- Prepare and key in inspection reports accurately and on time.
- Ensure inspection activities comply with company quality standards and customer requirements.
