Junior Sous Chef

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You are to assist the Sous Chef to control and co-ordinate the activities of all chefs and kitchen helpers, engaged in preparing and cooking food, to ensure an efficient, profitable and smooth food service at all times. You are responsible in planning of menus and utilization of food surpluses and leftovers, taking into account probable number of guests, market conditions, and popularity of various dishes and frequency of menu.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years' experience in the same or similar capacity in the hotel industry
- Possess strong leadership skills and able to manage a team well
- Able to communicate in spoken and written English
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Able to work shifts including night shifts
- Good inter-personal and communications skills and able to work well with others
- Position open only to Malaysians
