RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assist the Head Chef in preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food preparation is carried out efficiently and safely in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Prepare ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating meats, portioning sauces) as required for daily service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations at all times.
  • Support in receiving and storing kitchen supplies, ensuring proper labeling and stock rotation (FIFO method).
  • Monitor food quality and report any issues or shortages to the Head Chef.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and minimizing food wastage.
  • Follow all cafe operational procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Cafe Manager.
