JOB RESPONSIBILITY: -

Supplier Management Program

  • Management of materials (RMs, PMs, and TGs) specifications and compliance-related documents upon receiving (e.g., COA, Halal status).
  • Sample arrangement (RMs, PMs, and TGs) for risk assessment and compliance checking as per the schedule.
  • New/alternative material (RMs, PMs, and TGs) assessments and documentation recording (e.g., pink form
  • Maintain the documentation from the supplier and ensure they are up-to-date based on the supplier status provided by Purchasing. The documents shall be reviewed at an agreed interval to ensure compliance with legal, quality, food safety, and Halal requirements.
  • Handling supplier complaint / non-conformance / feedback for materials (RMs, PMs, and TGs) and ensuring effective action is in place to prevent recurrence.
  • To propose the yearly audit plan based on supplier performance and historical issues, and implement it accordingly after management's approval.
  • Perform supplier audits as a representative from the QA team.
  • PIC for internal release via system (RMs and PMs)
  • To liaise with the supplier (RMs) when extension shelf life is required.

Pest Control Program

  • Act as In-house Pest Control Coordinator and be responsible for the overall pest control program and activities for BM.
  • Ensure all pest control records, trend analysis, and documentation are accurate and audit-ready.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of external pest control service providers (if applicable).
  • Responsible for the CAPA plan related to pest control.

External Lab Testing

  • To review and update the master list of verification/validation (product, RM, PM, GMP/PRP, additional customer's specific request)
  • To ensure the testing is being carried out as planned.
  • To source and confirm that the external labs are accredited.

Excellence Management & System Maintenance:

  • Assist the QA manager (vendor and CI excellence management lead) to drive all identified CI project to deliver the expected result as per the timeline for each stage of project management: Project Strategic planning, QAQC operation analysis and optimization, Employee engagement and training, Change management Champion, Performance monitoring, etc

REQUIREMENTS: -

  • Degree holder in Food Science / Technology / Bioprocessing or related field.
  • Proven working experience (min 1 year) and knowledgeable in Halal, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 and 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards and requirements. Knowledge and experience in a sustainability system is an added advantages.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgement.
  • Communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time and resource management.
  • Willingness to work independently or with other team members / other teams to solve problems.
  • Registered as a Malaysia Food Analyst (with MOH) will be an added advantage.
  • Soft skills, especially in MS Office and presentation
