Responsibilities:
Ensure Safety is top priority when working in Splicing Yard
To coordinate pipe movement, and storage to ensure proper load-out and loading plan could be followed without hiccups.
To monitor, record and do documentation on splicing activities, welding parameters, consumables usage, and other related documentation to ensure SOP are strictly followed and adhered.
To coordinate daily activities at Splicing Yard, and ensure flows of pipes from Pipe Mill IZ13 are smooth, continuous, in safe manner, and to ensure an established communication was done with Temporary Yard or Coating Plant personnel to ensure efficient flow of pipes throughout daily activities.
To ensure safety devices are maintained and are enough in quantity. This includes, but not limited to, clamping plate (C-Clamp) and stopper block. Also, to ensure supplies of wire ropes and wooden dunnage are sufficient for projects.
To ensure Splicing Yard/Jetty area are running while adhering to OSHE requirements, and related authorities.
To upkeep Splicing Yard's facilities, and coordinate with related maintenance department to ensure minimal downtime, and proper preventive maintenance is being executed.
To ensure visiting clients are being properly accompanied, and to ensure clients or authorities are properly informed, well treated, and given proper cooperation.
Carrying out any other duties delegated by superior from time to time.
