Regional Staff Product Engineer (Poka Yoke & Tooling Jig and Fixture)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development-Build the Product Engineering Team's capability, through articulating the vision, establishing effective tools and standard work, capabilities and ensuring that the support structures are in place to meet both the organizations skill requirements as well as career needs
  • Stakeholder Engagement-Engage Stakeholders in Product Engineering strategy formulation; demonstrate through appropriate metrics how the strategy helps transition Plexus through continuous improvement to Customer Service Excellence and Operational Excellence
  • Strategy-Define, execute and continuously evolve the Product Engineering Strategy. Establish and maintain a global network to successfully execute the strategy across all levels, Global, Regional, Site
  • Technology Leader-Ensure efficient and effective tools are in place through early adoption of new/emerging technologies
  • Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential
  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical Electronic/Aerospace/Mechatronic/Mechanical/ Manufacturing engineering
  • More than 10 years experiences in high velocity, double digit B revenue CM and manufacturing settings
  • Highly self-motivated, aggressive, flexible, safety, integrity, quality, customer & result oriented
  • Good technical report writing and communication skills
