The Opportunity

Responsible for overseeing the on-site implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for projects, the MEP Site Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of LS Energy Sdn Bhd's engineering initiatives. Based in Selangau, Sarawak, this full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineering professional to contribute to the company's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to meet project specifications and timelines
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution
  • Monitor site activities, identify potential problems, and implement corrective actions to maintain project quality and safety standards
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to MEP activities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the on-site team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to address any design-related challenges or changes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and LS Energy Sdn Bhd's internal policies

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Site Supervisor or in a similar role within the engineering industry
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in managing MEP installations, testing, and commissioning
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
