About the role

We are seeking a talented Drafter / ID Designer to join our team at MH Theme Design Sdn. Bhd. in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for our clients in the engineering industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and designs using CAD software
  • Collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and convert them into accurate technical specifications
  • Ensuring all drawings and designs adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Identifying opportunities for design improvements and optimization
  • Providing support and guidance to more junior members of the design team
  • Liaising with external suppliers and contractors to coordinate the manufacturing process

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Drafter or ID Designer, preferably in the engineering industry
  • Strong proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar
  • Excellent technical drawing and design skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Good understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to interpret and translate design specifications into technical drawings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to identify design improvements
