Job Description

A) Ensure all essential equipment and systems are functioning properly through daily checks

  • Check all essential equipment daily and repair immediately if needed.
  • Inspect M&E, plumbing, and sanitary systems to ensure they work properly.
  • Monitor the condition of equipment, building, and fittings, and report any issues.
  • Supervise and monitor contractors' work to ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Carry out maintenance and project tasks assigned by superiors.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is done without disturbing daily operations.
  • Safeguard all plant rooms and equipment.

B) Ensure all complaints and breakdowns are attended to promptly

  • Attend to all job requests and Work Orders immediately.
  • Record all work details in the shift logbook and follow up on incomplete jobs.
  • Update requestors on job progress and confirm once work is completed.

C) Ensure departmental cost control

  • Checking all equipment, machinery, and supplies to ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
  • Ensuring proper care and responsible use of equipment and supplies.
  • Minimizing material wastage during building maintenance and operational activities.
  • Promoting maximum energy efficiency and optimizing the operation of facility equipment.

Requirement & Qualification

  • Minimum SPM and competent Chargeman Certificate (A4)
  • Valid Annual Renewal Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Facilities Management
  • Able to read electrical drawing and schematic penal control
  • Capable and have knowledge of M&E system and plumbing system
  • Practical hand on skills in Facilities Management
