QC Engineer | Up to RM4500 | Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Position: QC Engineer

Salary Package: RM3,500 – RM4,500

Working Location: Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Company Background: Plastic injection molding service

Working days : 5.5 days / Week (Need to work OT)

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday) & 08:00 – 13:00 (Saturday)

Job Descriptions:-

1 Quality Inspection and Testing:

a. Perform and oversee inspections of in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.

b. Conduct functional and dimensional tests using tools such as calipers, micrometers, or Go-No-Go Jigs.

2 Documentation and Reporting:

a. Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and test records.

b. Maintain and update quality documentation in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

3 Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action:

a. Investigate product or process non-conformances.

b. Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

4 Process and Product Audits:

a. Conduct internal audits and process validations to verify adherence to quality procedures.

b. Recommend improvements to reduce defects and ensure process control.

5 Calibration and Equipment Maintenance:

a. Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

b. Keep records of calibration status and initiate re-calibration when due.

6 Support New Product Development (NPD):

a. Participate in design reviews and quality planning for new products or engineering changes.

b. Develop inspection and test procedures for new parts or processes.

7 Compliance and Standards Adherence:

a. Ensure products and processes comply with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, or customer-specific requirements.

b. Support regulatory and customer audits.

8 Continuous Improvement:

a. Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

b. Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.

9 Collaboration and Communication:

a. Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, QA and supply chain.

b. Communicate quality-related issues effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in injection molding.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in high-pressure environment.
  • Required computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
