Job Title :Admin & Accounts Assistant
Location :Demak Laut, Kuching, Sarawak
The Admin & Accounts Assistant will support the company's accounting, documentation, licensing matters, and overall administrative tasks. This role reports directly to the Operations Lead and requires strong organisation, accuracy, and the ability to manage tasks independently.
Responsibilities
- Be punctual and reliable in reporting to work and completing assigned duties.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records.
- Prepare and process delivery orders, invoices, receipts, and other accounting-related documents.
- Maintain complete and organised records for suppliers, customers, and company accounts.
- Handle licensing documentation, renewals, submissions, and follow-ups.
- Manage email communication and work closely with the Operations Lead for instructions and approvals.
- Respond to inquiries professionally via phone, email, or in-person when required.
- Maintain an organised filing system for all accounting and administrative documents.
- Verify information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of all records.
- Generate reports when required by management.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks and support monthly account closing activities.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Operations Lead.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using accounting software (Autocount is an added advantage).
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
