BRIEF

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Building Executive to oversee the daily operations of our facilities. This role involves managing building upgrades, refurbishments, and renovations, and maintaining the overall functionality of the buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, maintenance planning, and reporting, as well as coordinating activities to ensure a high standard of service across the facilities. Oversee and manage the entire portfolio of the group's properties, ensuring the consistent application of operational standards and maximizing efficiency across all locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Facilities Oversight: Manage and supervise all aspects of building facilities, including upgrades, refurbishments, and renovation projects to ensure they meet quality standards and operational requirements.
  • Maintenance Planning & Reporting: Develop, plan, and prepare comprehensive monthly maintenance reports.
  • Analyze trends and propose solutions for improving building performance and efficiency.
  • Property Management: Handle tenancy matters with landlord. Monitor billing and assessment of the properties.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, safety standard and building codes.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the yearly maintenance budget, ensuring it is aligned with operational needs and financial goals. Track expenditures and ensure efficient use of resources throughout the year.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate building renovation and upgrading projects from inception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management, ensuring flexibility in addressing unforeseen needs or changes in the work environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A Degree in Quantity Surveying (QS), Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building management, facilities management, or a related field, with expertise in project management.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, building codes, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of building projects.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills for budgeting and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
