About the role

This is a full-time Operations Supervisor (LCO2 Plant) role at ACE GASES SDN. BHD. based in Kerteh, Terengganu. As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company's LCO2 plant, ensuring efficient and safe production to meet the needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist Facility Manager for coordinates and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, execute and ensure smooth operation within assigned responsibility area.
  2. Provide technical support for commissioning, troubleshooting and operational.
  3. Supervising and coordinating the work of the plant operators and technicians to ensure all production targets and safety protocols are met.
  4. Ensure products produce meet or exceed customer's expectations with compliance of Food Safety Management System (FSSC).
  5. Monitor and ensure operation team perform daily plant walk about, employing look listen and feel (LLF) methodology, to identify potential issues.
  6. Monitor and advise operation team for adjust and regulate process parameters to achieve optimum running condition.
  7. Monitor and implement routine operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  8. Monitor, advise and verify plant operating parameters records and activities.
  9. Coordinate with distribution/sales team for day-to-day production related matters.
  10. Monitor stock level and order replenishment matter.
  11. Monitor, advise or perform plant and equipment maintenance with support from maintenance team and external contractors/suppliers.
  12. Ensure all compliance and legal requirements for of certified ISO and Food Safety Management System are in place.
  13. General housekeeping of site.
  14. To undertake other related job as directed by immediate superior from time to time.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years working experience in the field of operations or maintenance of chemical, industrial gases, manufacturing, related engineering or similar industry.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  4. Ability to work in demanding multi discipline projects.
  5. Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards in the industrial gas manufacturing industry
