About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to join our team at PALMARA SECURITY SDN BHD in Oasis, Ara Damansara Selangor. This full-time role is a vital part of our finance and accounting operations, providing key support to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, bill payments, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Perform daily accounting operations, handle vendor payments, client billing & staff claim.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary as required for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed

What we're looking for

  • Possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounts-related role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
