Job description:

  • Lead the monthly closing of management accounts for property development companies, ensuring compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Payable processes, including timely bank and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update project costings to support accurate financial tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimize payment workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and relevant external parties on audits, tax filings, enterprise risk management, and compliance.
  • Interact with lawyers, bankers, valuers, company secretaries, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Develop financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and budgets to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and support junior finance team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by management with flexibility and professionalism.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, MIA certification, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Finance Operations, preferably within the property development sector.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, and multitasking environment.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly responsible, organized, solution-driven, and dedicated to delivering quality results.
  • Willingness to work at our Kota Damansara office location.
