In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives and delivering impactful training programs that support our people, strengthen our culture, and enhance business performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labour laws and company policies.

· Plan, implement, and review the entire training cycle — from identifying needs to evaluating results.

· Develop and deliver diverse programs, including onboarding, leadership development, service excellence, compliance, and skill-building workshops.

· Manage HRDC-claimable courses and ensure all submissions and claims comply with procedural and documentation requirements.

· Monitor training participation, outcomes, and ROI, preparing regular reports and insights for management review.

· Partner with department heads to align HR and training initiatives with business goals and operational needs.

· Source, coordinate, and manage both internal and external trainers to ensure effective and engaging learning experiences.

· Organize employee engagement and welfare programs to promote a positive and motivated workplace culture.

· Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.

· Administer performance management processes — setting objectives, guiding appraisals, and supporting improvement plans.

· Continuously review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and organizational standards.

· Lead initiatives to enhance staff engagement, retention, and talent development across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing the full spectrum of HR and training functions.
  • In-depth understanding of HR best practices, Malaysian labour laws, and HRDC requirements.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence and partner effectively across all levels.
  • Hotel or hospitality industry experience will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to commence work on short notice will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM6,500.00 per month
