The Manager - Corporate Finance & Treasury will play a key role in driving the Group's corporate transactions, including greenfield projects, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments, and fundraising initiatives, in addition to involvement in investor relations and treasury activities. The role will require a high level of financial acumen, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Corporate transactions - lead and manage end-to-end transaction processes in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including advisors, financiers, and regulatory authorities. Responsibilities include industry and market analysis, due diligence coordination, financial modelling, valuation analysis, documentation review, and participation in contract structuring and negotiations.

  • Debt fund raising - support the structuring and execution of the Group's financing initiatives, including loans, sukuk, and perpetual instruments. Drive documentation, negotiation of key terms, and engagement with financial institutions to optimise funding costs and capital structure efficiency.

  • Investor relations - serve as a primary liaison with the investment community, including sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and fund managers. Assist in the preparation of investor communications, presentations, and financial disclosures, ensuring consistent and transparent engagement with the market.

  • Stakeholder management - build and maintain strong relationships with the Group's key stakeholders including banks, legal counsels, financial advisors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments related to corporate strategy, capital management, or treasury optimisation as required, contributing to the Group's broader strategic objectives.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent. Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CFA) will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum 6 years' work experience, with prior experience in an investment bank/ Big 4 audit firm/ corporate finance being mandatory.

  • Financial modelling and valuation - capable of building and maintaining dynamic, fully integrated financial models to support investment evaluation IRR/ NPV, M&A, project finance, and fundraising purposes.

  • Familiarity with Main Market Listing Requirements and Bursa Malaysia disclosure obligations.

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting, tax, and legal related matters.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent project management skills – able to keep sight of all pending deliverables, manage timelines, prioritize and communicate effectively.

  • Fluent verbal and written English & Malay
