The Company

JPWALL provides the general insurance industry with the highest level of quality service and professional actuarial advice on mergers & acquisitions, pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital modelling and IFRS17 assignments. In addition, we focus on training and developing local expertise as well as bringing awareness, technical expertise, and increased professionalism to local actuarial practices in the various insurance markets across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

You will work on projects focused on general insurance. You will be assisting in a wide variety of projects which includes but are not limited to statutory reserving, regulatory solvency, reinsurance, capital modelling, IFRS17 assignments as well as pricing.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Working with the team by performing key statistical analysis and produce high quality analytical work on insurance-related projects.

Provide support in the preparation and presentation of materials for clients.

Show professionalism and strong communication skills when interacting with colleagues and the clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or any other related quantitative fields.

Strong academic performance.

Experienced candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Keen to specialise in General Insurance.

Good progress in actuarial examinations from recognised International Actuarial Bodies.

Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.

Able to work under a fast-paced environment.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, would be advantageous.

Well organized and detail oriented.
