Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your role will encompass the overall coordination, supervision, and quality control of all M&E systems on site:

  • Project Compliance: Understand and support the Project Manager in achieving the project's policy targets for safety, schedule, cost, and quality across all site activities.
  • Coordination: Execute the overall coordination of M&E trades in relation to the main building works and other disciplines.
  • Design & Document Review: Review and cross-check design drawings against M&E construction drawings to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all constructions strictly adhere to the approved design specifications, approved material use, and component standards.
  • Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for M&E subcontractors/suppliers, consultants, and clients on technical matters.
  • Technical Direction: Coordinate and provide technical guidance/direction to M&E subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Methodology: Jointly prepare Work Method Statements and/or Safe Operating Procedures with specialist M&E subcontractors when required.
  • Reporting: Coordinate and periodically report the project's M&E progress status to the Project Manager as directed.
  • Safety Focus: Proactively enhance and champion safety awareness throughout the construction period.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Working experience in construction, preferably industrial & data centers.
  • Solid understanding of construction standards, M&E drawings, and local authority requirements.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders (subcontractors, consultants, and clients)
