Senior Sales Executive

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team and spearhead our product sales in the Malaysian market. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a strong network of distributors and a proven track record in high-volume FMCG sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing distributor relationships, driving product movement, and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Lead the sales efforts for our FMCG products in Malaysia, identifying and establishing relationships with key distributors and sales channels.
- Distributor Relations: Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with a network of distributors to ensure maximum product availability and reach.
- Sales Execution: Proactively generate leads, close deals, and drive large-volume sales to distributors, retailers, and wholesalers.
- Negotiation & Closing: Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure profitable agreements and close high-value sales.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and forecasts to management to track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Brand Promotion: Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting the value and benefits of our products to distributors and customers.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the FMCG or distribution sector, with a focus on large-volume product sales.
- Network: Strong, established network of distributors, retailers, and business contacts in Malaysia or Southeast Asia.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, particularly in FMCG or related industries.
- Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Malaysian FMCG market, including consumer trends and competitive landscape.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and drive results with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FMCG products, specifically in the distribution or retail channels.
- Fluency in both English and Malay (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment for FMCG products in Malaysia.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: MYR 4,500 per month (commensurate with experience)
- Commission: Attractive commission structure based on sales performance, with uncapped earnings potential.
