About the role

HLC Education Sdn Bhd is seeking a passionate and experienced Mandarin Teacher to join our team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time Mandarin teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mandarin language lessons to secondary school students. What you'll be doing

  1. Planning and delivering Mandarin language lessons that are tailored to the needs and abilities of primary and secondary school students
  2. Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement
  3. Assessing student progress, providing timely feedback, and maintaining accurate records
  4. Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  5. Participating in professional development activities to continuously improve your teaching skills and knowledge
  6. Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages students to explore and celebrate the Mandarin language and culture

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Mandarin or a related field
  2. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting
  3. Excellent command of the Mandarin language, both spoken and written
  4. Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  6. A passion for education and a commitment to the academic and personal growth of students
  7. Proficiency in English is highly desirable
