About the role

Join our growing IT team as an IT Helpdesk Support at CENTRICORE SYSTEMS SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in George Town, Penang, where you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and responsive technical support to our customers remotely.

What you'll be doing

  1. Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  3. Provide step-by-step guidance to users on resolving common IT problems
  4. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
  5. Document all support activities and maintain detailed records
  6. Assist with the implementation and onboarding of new technologies
  7. Collaborate with the team members to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

  1. At least 1 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
  2. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
  3. Proficiency in using various software applications, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking concepts
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively diagnose and resolve issues
  5. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  6. Certification in relevant IT support or customer service disciplines is preferred
