IT Support Intern (Onsite – Kuala Lumpur)

Allowance: RM900 / month

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Job Brief

We are looking for a motivated IT Intern to join our team and support daily IT operations, data management, and documentation activities. This internship provides hands-on experience across various IT functions — including IT support, asset management, and policy documentation — within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

The selected intern will work under the supervision of the IT team and gain practical exposure to real-world IT processes and ISO 27001-aligned practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level support for hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in tracking, resolving, and documenting helpdesk tickets.
  • Support IT asset tagging, verification, and record updates in the Asset Management System (Snipe-IT).
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access requests in Google Workspace.
  • Help organize shared drives and verify user access controls.
  • Assist in monitoring Wi-Fi access points, VPN connectivity, and network performance.
  • Document antivirus and firewall maintenance activities.
  • Support IT documentation, including policy drafts, incident reports, and audit preparation (ISO
  • Help maintain backup logs, DRP/BCP documentation, and IT reports.
  • Participate in ongoing projects (e.g., CCTV, door access, system automation).
  • Assist in preparing IT awareness or training materials.

Requirements

  • Students currently completing their final year of Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and Google Workspace.
  • Good attention to detail, responsible, and eager to learn new systems or tools.
  • Available for a 3–6 month internship period.
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).

Pay: RM900.00 per month
