Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer (MRO Buyer) located in Penang, Malaysia. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies. Daily tasks include sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining procurement records. The role also involves collaborating with internal departments to meet their MRO needs and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
