Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR and administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysia's employment laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Legal background is an added advantage, particularly in handling industrial relations, compliance, and disciplinary matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives.
- Lead the full spectrum of HR functions including manpower planning, recruitment, performance appraisal, employee engagement, industrial relations, KPI and administration.
- Manage payroll, compensation, and benefits administration in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee relations professionally and in accordance with company policy and labour law.
- Drive organizational development initiatives including learning & development, succession planning, and talent management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR & Administration team to deliver professional, efficient, and value-added services.
- Lead the IT department in supporting the organisation through the introduction and maintenance of best practices in the provision of IT infrastructure, telecommunications, and systems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and application of relevant local, state, and national employment laws to ensure organizational compliance. This includes advising HODs on HR-related legal and regulatory matters and ensuring HR programs and policies remain aligned.
