About the Role

You will lead the full product lifecycle: understanding the market, sizing opportunities, shaping roadmaps, driving execution, coordinating launches, and evaluating product performance. This requires close collaboration with Engineering, UX, Business teams, and external stakeholders to ensure every product decision is user-centred, compliant, and strategically aligned with Finexus' vision. While this role is individual contributor in nature, it carries strong influence — shaping product excellence and strengthening the product mindset across the organisation.

Mission / Expected Outcomes

• Deliver products that meet user needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
• Define and maintain clear product strategy and roadmaps for Kayaaku and related product lines.
• Make data-driven decisions to prioritise initiatives and validate hypotheses.
• Improve cross-functional alignment and collaboration across Product, Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Business teams.
• Ensure successful, coordinated launches for new features and enhancements.
• Strengthen product practices and mentor team members in product thinking and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: research, strategy, prioritisation, execution, launch, and iteration.
• Conduct market and customer research to identify problems, opportunities, and competitive gaps.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to drive product decisions and uncover user or business pain points.
• Define product requirements and translate business needs into actionable specifications.
• Maintain the product roadmap, prioritising based on data, impact, and strategic alignment.
• Form hypotheses and design experiments to validate product assumptions.
• Partner with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Sales to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Communicate product decisions and trade-offs clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Track product performance using KPIs and analytics dashboards, iterating based on insights.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, operational, and technical constraints within the financial ecosystem.

Core Requirements (Must Have)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Product Management for technology/software products.
• Hands-on experience managing full product lifecycles (discovery → build → launch → optimise).
• Proven success in creating product strategy and launching impactful products or features.
• Strong analytical skills; able to make decisions based on complex datasets.
• Experience working closely with technical teams; understanding of software development concepts.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial institutions.
