Resident Dentist

1) Responsible in the provision of general dentistry services including providing comprehensive assessment and treatment of dental and oral conditions.

2) To perform Preventive, Curative / Restorative & Maintenance under general dentistry scope in a hospital setup.

3) To administer local anesthesia / pre-medication to perform oral surgery and to prescribe appropriate medication to patients.

4) Responsible in maintaining a comprehensive dental record of the patients including but not limited to medications prescription, diagnosis, treatment plans and consultations.

5) Assumes responsibility for clinical competence & professional development.

6) To educate patients and the guardian of young patients on methods to maintain proper oral health, dental care, dietary advice, preventive care and etc.

7) Promote the importance of preventive dental and oral care and conserving tooth structure of patients.

8) Diagnose and provide appropriate dental and oral treatment plans and must be able to diligently communicate such plans to the patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

9) To lead, supervise and manage the work of professionals, technical and administrative staff.

10) Work closely with Business Development team members in developing marketing strategies for Dental Department.
