About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Executive to join our dynamic team at YICK HOE GROUP OF COMPANIES' in Ulu Tiram Johor. As an IT Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the IT infrastructure and systems that support our business operations. What you'll be doing

  1. Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  2. Administering and maintaining the company's servers, workstations, and other IT equipment
  3. Implementing and managing software applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure
  4. Monitoring system performance and implementing measures to optimise efficiency
  5. Assisting with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related needs
  7. Providing training and support to end-users on various IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or similar role
  2. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  3. Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, as well as common business software and applications
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Proactive and adaptable approach to handling IT-related challenges
  7. Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT would be an advantage
