JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Revenue & Yield Management

  • Develop and implement effective pricing, distribution, and inventory management strategies to maximize room revenue.
  • Monitor daily pickup, booking pace, and market demand; adjust rates and restrictions accordingly.
  • Optimize room mix, length of stay, and overbooking strategies to achieve RevPAR targets.
  • Conduct regular revenue meetings with the Sales and Front Office teams.

2. Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and annual revenue forecasts.
  • Support the development of the annual business plan and budget.
  • Analyze variances between forecast and actual performance to identify improvement areas.

3. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitor rates, market trends, and online positioning.
  • Provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
  • Recommend pricing and promotional strategies based on demand patterns and competitor performance.

4. Channel Management & Distribution

  • Oversee and manage online distribution channels (OTA, brand website, GDS, etc.).
  • Ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy across all channels.
  • Work closely with e-commerce and reservations teams to maximize direct bookings.

5. Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office to align revenue strategies with marketing campaigns and group sales activities.
  • Recommend and evaluate promotions, packages, and special offers.
  • Train and guide reservations staff on upselling and yield practices.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOPPAR).
  • Present revenue performance updates to management.
