In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
Job description:
What you will do:
- Collaboration with suppliers to provide technical support to Purchasing for the transfer to HVM site
o Coordination and definition of drawing-related requirements with existing and new suppliers
o Technical consulting of suppliers to ensure standards-compliant implementation of requirements for vacuum capacitors
o Conducting FAI approvals as R&D representative - Interface for knowledge transfer from the supplier via Comet Purchasing to the development department for vacuum capacitors
- Support of the SCM department in the selection of suppliers regarding technical feasibility, quality, and cost
- Close cooperation with internal departments (e.g., Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing) to ensure a smooth FAI process and its approval by R&D
What you bring:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (University/University of Applied Sciences)
- Several years of experience in design/development and creation and documentation of technical drawings
- Very good knowledge of CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and confident use of ERP systems desirable
- Experience in working with international suppliers desirable
