Lead Security Engineer

Location: KLCC - Hybrid

We're partnering with our client to seek an experienced Lead Security Engineer to strengthen their cloud, application, and IT infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership in both offensive and defensive security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead application and infrastructure security assessments (DAST/SAST).
  • Manage vulnerability assessment, endpoint protection, and incident response.
  • Implement and optimize native cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Oversee IAM configurations and enforce least-privilege principles.
  • Support compliance initiatives and security posture improvements.
  • Drive automation, evaluate tools, and apply security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT or cloud security.
  • Proficient in tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM, InsightIDR, InsightCloudSec, Microsoft Defender, and Trend Micro.
  • Strong understanding of CSPM, IaC security, SIEM, NIST, OWASP, and CIS frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Additional Details:

  • Participation in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
  • Occasional evening or weekend support may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10, RM14,000.00 per month
