Key Responsibilities

• Conduct lighting simulations (DIALux, AGi32, or Relux) to optimize streetlight performance and ensure standard compliance.
• Work with photometric data to evaluate efficiency and uniformity.
• Create 2D/3D CAD models for lighting parts (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Assist in prototype design and testing to meet energy and durability standards.
• Support onsite lux level testing and product validation.
• Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) using SAP.
• Ensure product compliance with Malaysian and international standards (e.g., ST, SIRIM, IEC, LM-79/LM-80).
• Support production line setup and process improvements for new lighting models.
• Provide technical support and help resolve product issues or customer feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 0–2 years experience in lighting simulation, product design, or development (fresh grads encouraged to apply).
• Familiar with lighting design software (DIALux, AGi32, Relux) is an advantage.
• Skilled in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Basic understanding of LED lighting, optics, or thermal design.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
