About the role

Mayfort Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking an accomplished Outside Sales Engineer (Valve & Actuation) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position based in Seberang Perai Penang, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and building strong relationships with our valued customers in the regional market.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within your territory
  2. Providing technical expertise and solutions to customers, demonstrating product features and capabilities
  3. Preparing and delivering detailed sales proposals tailored to customer requirements
  4. Negotiating contract terms and closing sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
  5. Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and on-site visits
  6. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities and market developments

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the valve and actuation industry, with a proven track record of success will be advantage.
  2. Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of valve and actuation products and applications
  3. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels
  4. Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach
  5. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  6. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written
  7. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as needed
