Rakuten Insight Malaysia Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Rakuten Insight Global, Inc., Asia's leading expert in online marketing research, serving market researchers worldwide by utilizing its quality proprietary online panels, in-depth local knowledges / insights, and extensive fieldwork experience. Our active, rich, and diverse panels encompass the key Asia countries namely, Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Philippines.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of market research project execution. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by ensuring efficient respondent selection, vigilant monitoring of budgets and timelines, and fostering seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their project management skills, contribute to real-world projects, and make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Smart Sampling & Respondent Selection: Assist in the strategic selection of appropriate respondents for various research projects to ensure data quality, relevance, and timely completion.
  • Budget & Metric Tracking: Monitor project budgets, timelines, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and highlighting potential impacts on project success.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to keep projects on schedule and all parties informed.
  • Problem Solving & Process Improvement: Actively contribute to identifying challenges within project execution and assist in developing and implementing practical solutions to improve efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an undergraduate program in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Previous internship or work experience in market research or data analysis will be prioritized.

Internship period: Dec 2025 to May 2026
