Competencies and Skills


• SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.


• 3–7 years of experience in application support or software testing, preferably in the financial services industry.


• Experience with general programming, scripting, or technical troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Effective communication with both technical teams and business users


• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple incidents and tasks under pressure


• Familiarity with ITSM practices (e.g., incident, problem, change management)

• Able to support or coordinate system activities such as service restarts, patching, and scheduled jobs


• Capable of using tools or scripts to assist with operational support tasks


• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and accountability mind-set
