MEP Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair MEP systems, including electrical wiring, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Assist Project Manager to ensure all works comply with landlord, building, and safety regulations.
• Perform site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Diagnose issues and provide effective solutions on-site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for MEP-related works.
• Monitor materials, tools, and equipment needed for MEP installation.
• Prepare daily reports and update supervisor on work progress.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures at all times.
• Support other project activities when required.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in MEP installation or maintenance (fit-out experience is an added advantage).
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and M&E schematics.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
