Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. To assist General Manager/ Assistant General Manager in the overall management and operation of the projects.
  2. To lead the project team in the planning, managing, coordinating, monitoring, implementing and to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  3. To fulfill the company's contractual obligation to the clients.
  4. To monitor & prepare cost control of the project's budget. To ensure the cost of construction is within the budget.
  5. To plan, manage, coordinate, and monitor subcontractors' works, and ensure the works by subcontractors are complying with project's requirement and our QESH management system.
  6. To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
  7. To review and monitor the resources of the awarded projects.
  8. To increase the efficiency of the productivity of the awarded project.
  9. To ensure the inspection and tests are carried out as per our approved Inspection and Test Plans.
  10. To ensure the consistency of quality control and conforming to the project's specification.
  11. To report project progress to the top management.
  12. To ensure that the QESH management system conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.
  13. To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the organization.
  14. To take responsibility for prevention of work-related injury and ill health
  15. To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
  16. To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
  17. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Job Requirements:-

  1. Candidate must possess Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  2. Preferably with 10 years and above working experience in related fields.
  3. Have strong leadership and interpersonal skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices
  4. Able to interact with multi-levels of management personnel within the organization and third parties such as clients, consultants and sub-contractors
  5. Highly organized and able to multitask and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Team player with Positive Thinking.
  7. Willing to travel.
