JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION OFFICER

  • Responsible for meeting daily production output requirements, including production component readiness, WIP control, and monitoring of raw material usage versus planned consumption to ensure adequate supply for the final assembly process.
  • Responsible for mould and tooling changeovers. Ensure all process changes are carried out smoothly and completed within minimum time. Follow up on tooling modification and repair status with the die shop and maintenance team, and ensure all related tooling is available according to schedule.
  • Assist superiors in manpower planning and discipline control, including determining manpower requirements, monitoring staff discipline, and recommending areas for improvement.
  • Assist Production Superiors in data and document control, including preparation and updating of production costs.
  • Fully participate in controlling production output schedules versus master plan targets.
  • Assist Production Superiors in daily production review activities, and propose action plans for issues that occur.
  • Assist Production Superiors in monitoring delivery order status.
  • Participate in daily morning production meetings.
  • Ensure proper 5S implementation and maintain the workplace in good condition.
  • Perform and assist in all other duties and activities as assigned by the Head of Section/Department/Management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Diploma in any field. Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management is an added advantage.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Required skills: Good communication skills and proficiency in data preparation using Excel/Word.
  • Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good discipline with a results-driven approach to work.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and eager to learn new knowledge.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Kemuning, Selangor.
